It's amazing the things that God has destined for us.
Last night we had our taxes done by a family friend that has always done my parents taxes. He and his wife have known me for all of my life. Ironically when we moved to where we are now, we live about 10 minutes from them. M showed me around town about a month after we arrived, we met up with her daughter S, it was a great day. Any ways, it was a blessing is disguise to me that we had to go there to do our taxes last night, as my mom had a bad fall yesterday. It was so nice to be able to tell M what was going on and get a big hug and be told it was going to be okay, God had it under control. When Dad called to tell me that Mom did indeed break her hip, M heard me on the phone, the first thing she did was grab me up into a hug and then she grabbed my hands and man did we pray. We put my little, broken Momma in God's big wonderful hands and said "Okay God, please please please get her through this surgery. Please put your blood over her and protect her. Give A your peace too Lord." I haven't had someone pray with me in a long time. The peace that washed over me was amazing. I went back into E and G and we finished the taxes(happy dance!) and then as we got ready to leave G reminded me that they are always praying for my family and that my parents are great people. It was so nice to have that comfort.
In the last few weeks since the diagnosis God has given me a few angels, and they have all been important to my own healing process. His Grace is amazing, isn't it?
