Today in the S House

Has been busy for some of us, for others not so much. 3 different grocery stores to get the best prices on things, cleaning the kitchen, baking cookies, making a pasta salad, making egg salad, packaging meat are all things I have done. E has been at work for the last couple of hours making money :) which is always nice. But our dear sweet kitty, well he has had a lazy bone all afternoon!

Mister's Post Memorial Day Recovery

So Mister went with us to my parents this weekend. His weekend included playing with Jasper, my parent's beagle, and Wendy, my brother's little dog as well as hiding upstairs between the daybed and the trundle. What a rough weekend for the little kitty!





It seemed as though his recovery took him into Wednesday as well when I found him like this on the couch. He was this way for at least an hour.

Did you know there are creatures that live in blankets?

I do! His name is Mister and he is the most energetic kitty I know. This morning I was taking the sheets and blankets off the bed to wash them. I threw the quilt into the floor while Mister was busily investigating the sheets and such. Soon he disappears into the quilt, all that is left of my crazy kitty is a tail. Of course I didn't get that picture but I did get a few other ones!
